Fayetteville Cares is working with a family readiness group to put together gift baskets for approximately 290 single soldiers returning from Iraq.  These soldiers normally come back to an "empty" barracks after the deployment.  In the barracks, two soldiers share a refrigerator, microwave, and bathroom.  Four rooms share a washer and dryer.   Our goal is to "stock" the barrack rooms with some basic items.
 
We are requesting the following items: 

• Fast food gift certificates 
• Loafs of Bread 
• Bottled Water
• Individual bags chips (variety) 
• Boxes of single serve cereal
• Plastic silverware
• Laundry Soap
• Boxes of Dryer Fabric Sheets 
• Welcome Home Cards/Letters
